Some moving thoughts on grief/grieving here, which I thought might be of interest.

Thanks dingsy - my friend lost her Father recently (), after already losing her Mother (about six years ago).  Perhaps it will be too soon for her to read something like this .... advice please.

I know for myself I found it deeply moving.  Thank you for sharing the link x

I have only read the first one, and that just now.  I find reading long tracts on here quite difficult, so tend to not do too much.

I found what she had written really interesting and of course moving.  I feel that offering this to your friend will be fine, and she can take what she needs now and dip into it again when she feels ready.  You can tell her you weren't sure about introducing it to her, she will appreciate your honesty and kindness I am sure.

Thanks Nannyp - I think I will do that.  We are meeting on Wednesday evening for a meal with some other friends x
