The Great British Duck Race ~ 6th September 2009

I posted this earlier in the year in my post, but this is just a quick reminder its next month.

On Sunday the 6th September 2009 the ducks will be back in the water at Molesey Lock, near Hampton Court Palace for the 3rd Great British Duck Race and an attempt at our own World Record of 175,000 ducks.

As always there is a massive first prize of £10,000 for the first duck across the line as well as a further 30 great prizes for the runners up.

I am raising funds for the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust (EPT) here in the UK, who give advice and support to women like me who go through ectopic and other pregnancy issues.

I didn't sell that many tickets in the end. I think it was about £40 of which the EPT will get a %. I know a few people bought online too, which I dont have visability of, but I have asked the EPT how much they got from this.
