After all the walking I was doing this year things got just too busy and I totally dropped off. Hardly bean out since March - and managed to put over a stone on since Christmas Yeuk!
So I've been out today - only a couple of miles but I've got to get back into it and starting slow is the only way I'm going to keep it up.

It's so easy to let good habits lapse-especially once the traget has been reached. But imagine you'll soon be back on track, striding out! _________________ "I will not allow the fear of tomorrow rob me of the joy of today" |

Thanks Elaine
I've been 'trying' to get restarted for ages. I don't let my clients 'try' to do anything. I tell them JFDY so that's what I told myself today.
Missed all summer - mind you I was gardening. Then manage it today in the cold , damp, drizzle and just about dark when I got back. Must be mad! _________________ “You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because thorns have roses.”

Lol-actually I find walking when it's colder is easier-for me at least. I find walking when it's too hot just saps my energy completely, and takes away the enjoyment. Let's hope you have few drier days soon to help get you back into your stride. _________________ "I will not allow the fear of tomorrow rob me of the joy of today" |

We walked yesterday in the rain, with our friends and there 2 chocolate labs.
It was lovely, rain and cool. It was further than I would have gone, and I was flagging at the end.
We fully intended going walking again today in the rain, but had to wait for the delivery that never came, so the walk never happened.
Will go tomorrow, or Friday hopefully.
I have found the gardening meant I didn't have the energy to walk too. But now winter's here, there's not so much gardening, so walking is a good plan.
Just have to avoid hunt days too, or we could get shot! |
