One of our closest friends here in the UK had a little boy Austin Alexander 3 weeks ago. We met him for the first time last weekend. He is tiny (under 5 lbs), but gorgeous. Anyway, Geoff and I were asked to be god-parents. It was such a lovely surprise that they asked us - I got quiet emotional over it!

He will be baptised in October. I have several god-children and Austin will be my 5th! Looking forward to the day.

He is a tiny one isn't he - I'm sure he'll soon catch up though!

Great news. I love being a Godmother (nearly as much as a Grammy)!

We are off to meet the vicar (lady) on Tuesday night. I'm sure she will ask us all (parents and Us) about why they want Austin to be baptised, etc.
