Thanks everyone-had a lovely-although bit unusual- day! Firstly I had the latest CT scan so feeling a bit nauseous and headachy with that, but not too bad. The radiography team even sang "happy birthday"!
Brian has been in Dorking all week, and arrived home a few minutes ago- I have to admit it was odd waking up on my birthday with only Rosie in the house. But we had a lovely famly bbq on Sunday-very leisurely, and opened all family pressies then, so that was a real treat.
We're having some work done on the hall at present, so I've had 3 men with me for most of the day! We've built across the front section of the hall-as you come in the front door, it's wide, and then narrows into a corridor, so we've divided it off-looks much better. The dust has been incredible.As I've needed to stay available, a few friends came round this afternoon for coffee and cakes-rather than the proposed lunch.
All in all-a rather succesful day. It seems amazing to look back over the past year, with all it's challenges-in all honesty, on my last birthday, Brian and I seriously wondered if I'd see another-but here we are-and hoping for a few more!
