hi all, thank you very much for allowing me back to the site, and to elaine for her gentle persuasion... not sure if there is a set amount of posts need to be made per week etc, i am not online as much as i used to so will try and pop in when i can...bit nervous to be honest at the moment might take a few days to settle in...thanks again Mary x

I am so glad that Helen allows that one because it truly is my favourite! If you've got a piece of anatomy that JLo would truly envy, it's not always possible to shake it every day in the real world - however, here - we can happily shake it as much as we like, in the safe and happy knowledge that no-one else can see

I've come to realise Jo that it is worth getting excited over pictures such as these. you can create your own persona to go with the picture. They are exactly as you want them to be - including being just opinionated enough to provide a challenge and keep us on our toes but not enough t be boring or "always right".

They don't smell or fart or get in the way when we want to be independant; don't eat us out of house and home and can always be relied upon (in our minds at least) to say exactly the right thing.

I'll have Clooney! or even House (Hugh Lawrie) - me being the one to get through his embittered shell of course!

You should now have access to another forum on here, called The Trust Club'. It's where we are all telling our weight management stories.

We are not on 'diets' we are changing our lifestyles in order to be more healthy. So we post not only about our struggles with food but also the exercise we are getting (whether it be walking or housework, swimming or gardening - it doesn't matter so long as it is activity and hopefully makes us a bit breathless (and yes - that burns calories too

).

We share ideas for healthy balanced meals and share our frustrations when the scales don't move int he way we'd like them to.

So come on in and start a thread - I do believe you have lost quite a bit already! is that right?
