Help with a petition, please...Tyverb, a new drug for *** cancer-http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/tyverb?e I'd be really grateful if any of you could take a few minutes to sign this petition. Tyverb is one of the drugs I'm on at present. At the moment in this country, it only has a license for use with a private prescription, and used only in conjunction with capecitabine-which is my "cocktail" of the moment! Due to costs it's not available on the NHS, which borders on scandalous. We have a long way to go with this particular drug, and however effective/ineffective it turns out to be for me, I'm saddened thats only a handful of patients at the moment are even getting the option to try it. As always, the U.S is streets ahead of us, and use it in conjunction with other drugs-one of it's most exciting uses there, is for it to be used in conjunction with herceptin, as it seems to kick start the herceptin into being effective again.
