Hi

Hi

I'm Jessica (otherwise known as Spangle ... cos they were my fave sweets when I was a child ).  I was posting yesterday as "guest2", but have been persuaded by you lovely people to join properly.

A bit about me.

I'm married to Nick; we've been married 8 years, both been married before but only I have kids.  My family are all grown up now and "doing their own thing"; twin girls aged 26 and then another daughter aged 24.

Nick and I live in Italy now; we moved 2 years ago to start a new, stress-free life.  Sadly I had a nasty accident and broke both my legs which is howcome my fitness isn't what it used to be.

I look forward to "meeting" you all, and hopefully sorting myself out!

Welcome Jessica... glad you decided to join!

Pleased you've joined Jessica and so sorry to hear about your accident.....I hope you'll tell us more about that at some point.

Hi Jessica

Are you always 'Jessica' - or 'Jess' or something else?

Really pleased you've joined us, hope to share chats about all sorts with you

katieqr

Hello Jessica
angelfruit

Hi Jessica

Welcome to PC2 ~ this lot on here are known in my office as the lifesavers!  I guess I'm a bit selfish because I don't share the exact title of the forum with my colleagues (wouldn't be able to get things off my chest properly then!)

Ho hum ... I'm babbling again .... can't wait to hear more from you and glad that you've found the site.  Your accident must've felt like it was never ending (hope you are now fully recovered).

Dawn x
PS  Whatever happened to Spangles (loved them too - as well as Aztec's and ....) LOL x

Old English Spangles were my favourite......I think they brought Spangles back a few years ago, but not as I remember them

Mine too

I always think of them when anyone mentions spangles.  The others were just boiled sweets but the old english  mmmmhhh!!

They always ruin sweets when they reinvent them.  They did the same with sherbert pips, too

Definitely old fashioned spangles

Now, this is just not fair!  I join for support, and you lead me straight to half a dozen online sweetshops

Will you please stop it?

angelfruit

Thank you Katie - had a bit of help from my friends

I love her because if you look closely she's trying to look at her    - trouble is it's not big enough to see (I wish)!!!
Nannyp

You're beggining to worry me Dawn, I obviously didn't quite realise how obssessed you were about your bum.........I think you should come in for some therapy
angelfruit

Spent a lifetime being neurotic about being either too skinny or too fat ~ glad that now I can accept it for what it is (a way of holding all my innards together)!
Nannyp

   Good for you
Hecateh

Can't stop looking at mine either - and for the first time in my life I don't mind others looking (clothed of course) either
