Homeopathic medicine.Following on from amarie's post on the gem stone thread. Has anyone found homeopathy helpful? I'm tempted to try again. I had a course a couple of years ago-arsenic for ibs, which was completely ineffectual. However, I was so disappointed, that I'm tempted to try again.Any succes stories that will help me decide?

After posting this a few days ago, bumped into a former neighbour who has been having homeopathic treatment for warts-of which she unfortunately had rather lot! Didn't get a chance to get too many details, but she's amazed at how effective it is.

Seems like a good time to give it a go then - perhaps she can recommend her therapist, There are some cons in this area as in many others but also some geat people. You ned to really trust the therapist if it going to work I think.

I've been attending the homeopathic hospital in Glasgow for 2 or 3 years now. I haven't found a remedy that works very well yet, but the doctor said it's just a case of finding what works for me personally. I've just finished trying a 3-day remedy, and if I don't feel any better in about a week I've to contact him. There are so many remedies that all they can do is try to match you to one that could help. Trial and error! I would definitely recommend going to a qualified practitioner though, unless it's just one specific problem you're looking to treat - eg. when I was getting my wisdom teeth out I bought Arnica from a chemist.
