Prosperity: You Are the Source by Steve Nobel

Many people seem to struggle with issues around money, not least those with spiritual values. Some people get addicted to money, whilst others avoid it, yet there is nothing apart from ourselves stopping us from living an abundant life. Some people disagree and say it is down to luck, an opinion that was researched by psychologist Richard Wiseman, author of The Luck Factor, who looked at over 1000 volunteers and concluded that luck is something we generate ourselves. Lucky people just have different thought processes and strategies for generating what they want.
Many metaphysical teachers speak about the law of attraction and that we can create as expansive and joyful life as we can imagine. I have found, experimenting with this concept over the past 15 years that we do indeed live in a reality that is potentially magical where we can allow, invite and create a life that is full, happy and meaningful in every sense. In my own life I have manifested all kinds of things from relationships, to houses, opportunities and different forms of wealth. The world is a mirror that reflects back to us our attitudes, beliefs, thoughts and feelings.
Where we have a prosperous consciousness we will live in a reality that is full of opportunities, uplifting connections, joy, adventure, and when we need it, money. Reality is a feedback mechanism for what we deeply believe. We can want more money but if we do not believe that it is possible, achievable or that we deserve it, then money will always elude our grasp.
The good news is that we can change our conscious and unconscious tendencies, thinking and doing and thus create a more abundant life. We are the magicians that dream our world into being. Here are a few ideas that if engaged with, will in time, bring tremendous results:

Dream – use your imagination to create a vast dream for your life. Discover the qualities that are important to you. Constantly expand what you think is possible or achievable.
Bless – all the great things in your life. Bless all the money that passes through your hands. Bless others with money. Bless your bank account.
Flow – be generous in your giving but equally as important be generous in your receiving. This will open you to the flow of life. Expect gifts to come through many different avenues.
Love - anchor into the vibration of love. A person in fear is magnetic to lack. A person in love is magnetic to abundance flowing to them. Open to self-love. Send love to any fear inside of you.
Act – ensure all the things you say and do are in alignment with your highest vision of your life and what you think possible. This will create congruence between where you are and where you are going.

Hm Yes so am I now - maybe it was a trial thing he did with that site and it has now expired - anyway I'll remove it.

This all seems a bit similar to The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. Haven't read it but if others have, what do they think?

A lot of the positive thinking sites (all with their own "unique" (and best) slant are quoting the secret at the moment - Apparently 'The Secret' tells you the results but not exactly how to get there whereas all these sites will (for crossing their palms with silver) tell you exactly what to do and how to get there.

The old gypsy curses and good luck for crossing their palms etc, whitch doctoring, vodoo (even prayer) etc all work on the same premise really. If you really believe something is going to work, there is a very good chance it will. Even if you don't and those around you do it still has an increased chance of working.

What all the positive thinking, eft, NLP and everything else like that do is reprogramme your mind to enable you to believe - simple really BUT it does work!

Well that's my opinion anyway - but the scientific evidence is beginning to mount up that you will be or attract what you believe in. Same as many of our old proverbs as well come to think of it. "Misery likes company". "Laugh and the world laughs with you". Give love to receive it etc.

And I'm sure we all know people who always seem to see the best in situations are happier and more fun to be with and People who always see the negative and blame others for everything that goes wrong are very draining to be around.
