So pleased for my young friendI have an absolutley delightful friend-she's the same age as Iain! Anyhow, we get on well, walk dogs together when we can-and despite her age, she is wise beyond her years, and has been very supportive to me over the past few years. I've been touched by her concern-especially when you consider that I've been "abandoned" by friends I have had for much longer, and who have the benefit of age on their side...
She's due to get married at the end of next month, and has been fretting about what her friends are planning for her hen night. Most of them are nurses, so anything could be possible..... But, she's just texted me to tell me that they've told her to get packed quickly, ready for the off tomorrow. They're treating her to a weekend in New York!!!!! Isn't that just the most fabulous thing......

I'm so pleased for her-she deserves every happiness in life. She's had more than her fair share of problems, but is so forgiving and mature in her attitude to life. If she wasn't already spoken for (and if Iain wasn't already partnered), I'd have been doing some match making.
