Sunshine ....

Isn't it amazing how the sun shining can completely change our demeanour.

Sadly, in the UK we get used to living life in a kind of tepid way - our snow is never quite white enough or crisp enough or deep enough.  Our heat is never 'clear' enough, our sunlight never quite bright enough.

Today, my sun is shining in a brilliantly clear blue sky, the temperature has increased and with it the size of the smiles that pass  by the window of my 'office'.  I live on a major dog-walking route (much to 'E's distress).

Not so much 'positive thinking' as a 'positive thought' from my head .... to yours ....

Have a wonderful Sunday and a great Bank Holiday May Day tomorrow x

I'm one of the lucky people who don't mind what the weather does. In fact, I get quite uncomfortable when it's too sunny! I like it to be warm and dry, but don't like heat which makes me feel lethargic-so this is anything over about 18 degrees in my case! I love watching the rain-and walking in it too-coming home, wet and cold, with blood coursing through veins and snuggling up with a cup of hot choc.

I do sympathise though with people who "need" bright skies. It must be hellish to be affaected by something over which you can't have any control.

I think I love the fact that there seem to be a lot more smiling faces than usual! :O)

I agree. I love the sunshine. I sat outside yesterday and had my lunch and read for a while. It always makes me feel better. It's a little cooler here today, but some is still out, so will take a stroll into Kingston soon.

Lol-there's definitely a connection! We just can't cope with the heat though-which is why we always holiday in this country. Brian in particular gets really irritable if he's too warm. I find the very bright days also make me headachy-I have to wear sunglasses a lot of the time. Managed to sit out for a while today, taking a break fROM decorating (in the shade, of course... 0

I've been working in the garden for 3 hours.  Perfect geardening weather, sunny but not too hot - but warm enough to sit for a while when a break is required     which is fairly frequently.

Just my ideal kind of weather Helen. Gardening tomorrow!
