We are going to be god-parentsOne of our closest friends here in the UK had a little boy Austin Alexander 3 weeks ago. We met him for the first time last weekend. He is tiny (under 5 lbs), but gorgeous. Anyway, Geoff and I were asked to be god-parents. It was such a lovely surprise that they asked us - I got quiet emotional over it!
He will be baptised in October. I have several god-children and Austin will be my 5th! Looking forward to the day.

We are off to meet the vicar (lady) on Tuesday night. I'm sure she will ask us all (parents and Us) about why they want Austin to be baptised, etc.
