What made you smile todayThe thing that brought the biggest smile to my face today was some new baby ducks. I was walking by the resevoir and there was a scuttling inthe bank and there appeared proud mummy with 9 of the tiniest ducklings I have ever seen. 3 balls of yellow fluff and 6 'tabby' ones (I'm sure ducks aren't known as tabby but you know what I mean)
Ahhhh so sweet
Will take my camera down tomorrow

I also saw a little boy, about three years old, walking with his grand dad. He had binoculars rounds his neck and wellies on and a wee duffle coat. He looked really cute too - plodding along so seriously!!

I've just had to smile at my cat Jaffa...he is stalking birds in the garden...cruel I know....but he is so enthusiastic the birds just see him coming and are off before he can pounce....
..It's a beautiful day ,and that's reason enough to be happy...
Have a good Sunday everyone...

A bit late to this thread (I've had PC problems, internet problems, visitors up to my eyeballs, plus a garden to try and tame between the storms!!) ... but
Today, our broody hen took her 2-week-old babies out of the main henhouse. Cute enough. However, I took some soaked stale bread out to feed to the chickens and ducks ... and she'd taken the babies inside. She called and called, but they didn't come back out ... so she took tiny bits of bread inside for them!! SOOOOOOO cute!!
