whew!I've been out cycling today.
I've been intending to for ages. I cycled a lot as a kid and bought a cycle about 15 years ago that I used once at centerparcs and that has been stuck in the garage ever since. I have cycled a couple of times since but not very far and not very often.
I've been promising for ages to go cycling with a friend and today we finally got round to it. The planned route was bad enough at 16 miles but we got lost and had to retrace our steps.
So I have cycled 20 miles. At the moment I feel tired but fine but am expecting to ache (just a lot) tomorrow.

That's a good distance to cover in your first outing-well done. Think you'll be right about the aches though!!!

I used to cycle a lot as a kid and after the first few minutes, which were a bit wobbly, I soon got into an even 'stride' - Got a bit wobbly again towards the end though, muscle fatigue kicked in and anything more than a 2% gradient and I was off and pushing for the last couple of miles. Being by the canal it was generally a very flat run, otherwise I wouldn't have made it.
