Hi Josie
Can you tell the order in which I am reading the threads tonight? LOL
It's great swelling the ranks of the angels - you can probably tell that I am a firm believer.
Don't recognise you from RISI - but then I don't tend to go on the forum on there anymore - too busy with all these others and feel more comfortable in a small B & B than a very busy, big hotel - if you get my meaning!
Speak to you soon

Hi Dawn,
I have been on RiSi for about 14 months but only active on the forum for about 10months....I spent far too much time there ...LOL! The idea of this small forum is very appealing, with such lovely people on board.

RISI is too big for little ol' me nowadays. I like the comfort that this place gives me. It's kind of like your safe place to fall.

It's nice to be able to spend time on two very different forums.... |

Angels and the belief in Angels is a subject that fascinates me....I have seen the white fluffy feathers and always believe that an angel has passed over, even the possiblity that the feather could belong to a pigeon does not alter my belief... |
Still not too sure what to make of this, but am certainly receptive to the possibilty-and not simply because of my challenging situation at the moment.
Sat out and read for a while this morning. TWO white feathers fluttered into my lap(at different times). Cleaning the front porch-another feather drifted down.Just been out to feed the fish-and yet another feather arrived.
I looked around carefully, but couldn't see any angels (although I could "feel" my Mum, although that may have been wishful thinking). Couldn't see any angels-but couldn't see any pigeons either.Think my guardian angel is maybe passing a message on... |

I won't preach .... but I am utterly convinced. They come through for me too many times not to believe .... though the old lottery ticket angel hasn't shown herself yet.
Angel In My Pocket
I am a tiny angel
I'm smaller than your thumb:
I live in peoples pockets
That's where I have my fun.
I don't suppose you've seen me,
I'm too tiny to detect:
Though I'm with you all the time,
I doubt we've ever met.
Before I was an angel....
I was a fairy in a flower;
God, himself, hand-picked me,
& gave me angel power.
Now God has many angels
That He trains in angel pools:
We become His eyes, & ears, & hands
We become His special tools.
And because God is so busy,
With way too much to do;
He said that my assignment
Is to keep close watch on you.
When He tucked me in your Pocket
He blessed you with angel care;
then told me to never leave you,
& I vowed always to be there. _________________ Be who you are, and say what you feel ... because those who mind don't matter ... and those who matter don't mind.

I do believe that sometimes there is a a comforting presence in our life that can't simply be dismissed as an over active imagination. I always think of angels passing over whenever I see white feathers.....
It was a tradition in our hospice to wear a small angel in our lapels, it reminded us of patients gone from our care, and now watching over us from above.
