Something I am proud of achieving. ...Changing a situation which I knew was bad for me in 2003.

Hi everyone - good to join you all here at last - been meaning to for ages.

Name. Annie or Anne - totally interchangeable (or perhaps Anne's my work self, Annie my social...)

Age (or decade)- 51

Share my home with. I live alone, with the occasional insistent companionship of Wally, the cat next door. When he's no longer around, I'll take in some more companions of a feline persuasion.

What I like to do in 'me' time. Enjoying my own company - reading, crosswords, internet, even light housework.

One thing I'd like to change about my life. Would like to have more of a life outside home and work - and the choices.

Something I am proud of achieving. Losing three stone, giving up smoking (2 years ago now) and having the courage to end a ten year relationship that was held together by nothing much more than guilt and fear of being alone.

What I like to do in 'me' time. ... Craft things (including making greetings cards and sewing, but will have a bash at most things except knitting and crochet!), DIY, gardening, posting on forums, chatting to friends ...

One thing I'd like to change about my life. ... My back! I'd like it to be strong. I'd also like to have more self-confidence.

Something I am proud of achieving. ... ending 2 abusive relationships (yeah, finally learned!! :oops: ), bringing up my daughter who has turned into a wonderful young lady, making the life-changing decision to move to France.

One thing I'd like to change about my life: I've made a lot of positive changes lately and am generally happy with my life but I'd like to make more friends and widen my support network.

Something I am proud of achieving: Overcoming depression and self-harm, and going back to uni to do a master's.

I forgot about a big change I'd like to make in my life - find a job/career that I enjoy and that's rewarding! That's one reason I'm doing the master's.

Something I am proud of achieving: I completed a Mathematics degree part time - took many years, but got there. Thinking about going back to study (am I mad)!
